The Griffin Inn is situated just off the main market square in the centre of the market town of Oswestry in Shropshire. The Griffin Inn is a grade two listed building, with oak beams and wooden floors. We serve a varied home cooked menu at lunch times at affordable prices and offer a wide range of beer, lager and bottled drinks.
Oswestry markets boasts specialist retailers from cake supplies, sewing repairs, home brew, Welsh goods and party wares among a host of other things. We even have an artist who paints local scenes!
If you like collectables and antiques, we have four great shops to rummage through at your leisure and when you feel like you need refreshing, we have an excellent cafe and coffee bar. We also have a fantastic quality butcher and fishmonger and an excellent new delicatessen which sells a huge variety of cheeses.
