Buttermilk Bed and Breakfast, Ladywood, Worcester, Worcestershire
Buttermilk Bed and Breakfast offers warm and inviting B&B accommodation at Ladywood, a pretty village near Worcester in Worcestershire. Our B&B enjoys extensive views over the Salwarpe and Severn valleys and is a lovely base for those who want to explore the many historic sites and cultural events throughout the West Midlands.
Our bed and breakfast is close to the Faithful City of Worcester and within easy reach of Gloucester and Hereford (for the Three Choirs Festival) and Cheltenham (for the races!). Buttermilk is in the heart of the countryside that has inspired many artists and writers such as the music of Elgar and Vaughan Williams, the plays of Shakespeare, the Shire in J R R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and the poetry of A E Houseman.
The Cotswold Hills and Stratford-upon-Avon are within an hour's drive, as are many sites of Roman and Saxon significance. The M5 motorway gives easy access to the south for Bath (Roman Aquae Sulis), Gloucester (Glevum) and Cirencester (Corinium) and north to Birmingham and the West Midlands.
