St Aidan Hotel, Seahouses, Alnwick, Northumberland
St Aidans Hotel is positioned enviably on the edge of Seahouses, just 300 yards from the harbour and the village.
We have 8 bedrooms with a selection of king, double and twin. All rooms have en suites, cotton bed linen, fluffy bath towels, boutique toiletries, locally stocked fair trade tea and coffee facilities and a pair of binoculars.
Breakfast each morning is served on the ground floor with fabulous views from the light and airy breakfast room with large picture windows that look out towards Bamburgh Castle and the golden beaches.
Cooked breakfasts include a selection of sausages, bacon and black pudding from Carter's butcher in Bamburgh and smoked haddock and salmon from Swallows smokehouse above the harbour in Seahouses, the home of the kipper.
The area is ideal for walkers with miles of award winning sandy beaches, golfers with many coastal courses available, divers with local boat owners operating for their exclusive use and in season, birdwatchers with many species including the famous Farne Islands puffins.
