Horse & Farrier, Threlkeld, Keswick, Cumbria

The Horse & Farrier was built in 1688 and is a traditional Lakeland inn located within the centre of the village of Threlkeld, which is only 4 miles from Keswick, Cumbria.

All bedrooms are en-suite and include a TV, tea/coffee making facilities and some are dog friendly.

In the bar you will find some of the best real ales in the area. There is also an extensive wine list. The restaurant at the inn is well known for quality food.

The Horse & Farrier Inn has a stunning location amidst the Northern Fells of the English Lake District, surrounded by magnificent mountains and beautiful Lakes scenery.

Whether it is fell walking, sailing, climbing, cycling, horse riding, paragliding or mountain biking, there is something for everyone.

The walking around this part of the Lake District National Park is second to none. Blencathra, Skiddaw, Helvellyn and the Northern Fells of Caldbeck are all in close proximity. For the less energetic, there are lovely walks around the shores of Lake Derwentwater & Bassenthwaite and along the former railway line to Keswick.
