Tudor House Bed & Breakfast is nestled in a beautiful part of Hampshire, overlooking lush green fields in Ropley near Alresford. Our aim is to provide guests with an elegant country home that has a warm and welcoming feel, perfect for those well-deserved, relaxing break away.
Our guest rooms have been decorated and furnished to the highest of standards, offering a charming country home. A delicious breakfast is included within your room rate and is freshly prepared each morning. Where possible we use local ingredients, with a choice of a traditional English or continental breakfast available, which are ordered the day before.
The quintessentially English village of Ropley is a great base for those looking to explore Hampshire. It is surrounded by countryside, so for those looking for a break away from the city, we are an ideal bolt hole. However, we are close to the historic City of Winchester, the Georgian town Alresford, the beautiful South Downs National Park and The New Forest.
Just down the road is Jane Austin’s home in Chawton. There are also wonderful National Trust houses and gardens to enjoy and we are close to the coast and there is access for ferries to the Continent. Portsmouth Naval Dockyard with the Mary Rose Museum and Southampton are perfect places to explore. We have a great choice of Pubs, Restaurants and places to eat within easy distance of Tudor House.
