Allanfauld Farm is a family-run bed & breakfast near the town of Kilsyth, deep in the heart of the Scottish countryside in Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire. They offer comfortable and relaxing accommodation on a working beef and sheep farm, ensuring an unforgettable holiday experience.
There are 3 cosy rooms available in the farmhouse: 1 single room, 1 double room and 1 family room. The rooms have TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
The Garden house is a little piece of luxury situated in the garden at Allanfauld, looking out to the hills beyond Kilsyth. It can comfortably sleep two, either a twin or a double, and has a double sofa bed for a further two people if required. It is comfortable and cosy and includes a shower room, kitchen facilities and a lounge room. The Lodge is available as a self catering unit, or alternatively, breakfast can be provided in the farmhouse. The Garden House is open all year round, so please get in touch to check availability.
Both Glasgow and Stirling are a 20 minute drive away. Croy Train Station is two miles away, where a short train journey will take you into the centre of Glasgow, Edinburgh or Stirling. There is local access to a wide range of activities and facilities such as a swimming pool, a rock-climbing hotspot, golf courses, hill walking, fishing and many other tourist attractions, such as Stirling Castle, The Colzium Estate and The Antonine Wall. The starting point for The West Highland Way is located in Milngavie, only a 30 minute drive away.
