Brathay Lodge is a family run Ambleside bed and breakfast built around 1890 and is very well located for walkers, mountain bikers and golfers visiting the Lake District.
Ambleside is an ideal Lake District holiday location, former home to Wordsworth, Rankin & Beatrix Potter.
We have 19 rooms available all with king size beds, these are made up of standard, superior (ground floor, pet friendly included), twin, triple, quadruple, family rooms (sleeps 3-5) and four poster suites. All rooms are en suite with Jacuzzi spa bath and shower over, tea & coffee making facilities and colour T.V's.
The bed and breakfast is close to the centre of Ambleside. With excellent walking, cycling and touring opportunities available, this is a perfect base for enjoying both short and long breaks.
