Thorns Farm offers unique self-catering accommodation for medium to long-term stay. We are located close to the village of Barrowby near the market town of Grantham in Lincolnshire. We have seven purpose-built self-contained apartments set on our farmland. Each apartment has its own private entrance.

We are perfect for couples who are between properties, families visiting from abroad and contractors/professionals working away from home on business.

The apartments overlook the stunning surroundings and open fields. They all offer an outdoor seating area so you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Located on the 50-acre farm there is pretty woodland with ponds and even two fishing lakes. Guests are welcome to fish on the lakes where there are carp, roach, bream and many more fish to catch.

There are many things to do in the surrounding area including visiting some of the famous and popular attractions including Belton House & Deer Park, Belvoir Castle, Easton Walled Garden and Barkston Heath, guests can also enjoy walking, cycling, horse riding and golf in the local area.

The Newark Showground is 12 miles away and Lincoln 20 miles. Ancaster is popular for fishing at the large Woodland Waters attraction, walking on the Viking Way and there is also go-karting, paintball, laser quest, quad biking and 10 pin bowling in the village. RAF Cranwell is only 4 miles away and RAF Barkston Heath which hosts occasional motorsport and model aircraft flying events is less than 2 miles away.
