Chagford is one mile away as is Castle Drogo, the 20th century castle now in National Trust ownership. It is a perfect touring centre and day trips from here may include the Eden Project and the North Cornish Coast or Dartmouth, Totnes and the South Hams. 

There are wonderful walks on the doorstep of our guest house that lead through the wooded valley and on the open moor.
