Tregonwell House Guest House, Minehead, Somerset, Exmoor National Park

Tregonwell House Guest House can be found in the popular Somerset town of Minehead, the gateway to the Exmoor National Park. This bed and breakfast offers spacious guest accommodation which is comfortably furnished to ensure an enjoyable stay is had by all.

The guest bedrooms are large and very comfortable. All have en suite facilities, Freeview TV, clock radio, hairdryer and beverage tray.

A variety of breakfasts are on offer, from a hearty Full English, to lighter choices and a vegetarian option, all of which are served in the light, spacious dining room.

Minehead is a traditional seaside resort, providing fun for all the family. The wide sandy beach is a five-minute walk from Tregonwell House and is easily accessible from the promenade, which runs along the whole sweep of the bay, from the golf course to the pretty harbour. The promenade is lit up at night with a ‘string of pearls’ effect and forms part of the new sea defences which are a major improvement to Minehead seafront. There are plenty of things to do in the town, regardless of the weather, although Minehead has a very mild, sunny climate.

You can get day tickets to the Butlins Holiday Camp, take a trip on the West Somerset Steam Railway, see a show at The Regal Theatre, or have a go at putting on the green in Blenheim Gardens, which are famous for their floral displays. There are trips around the bay from the picturesque harbour, or you can book a day’s sea fishing. You can also fish from the promenade when the tide is in.
