Overcombe House offers award-winning bed and breakfast accommodation at Yelverton in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
There are 8 en suite bedrooms where you can relax, unwind and enjoy a good night’s sleep. There are three types of room for you to choose from, your first choice is one of the classic double or classic twin rooms. The classic rooms are the most spacious & popular due to their size, they can be made up as a six-foot wide double or twin depending on your requirements they also enjoy stunning views. Your second choice is either the standard double room or standard twin room or your third choice is one of the small double rooms. These two rooms are ideal for the solo traveller or couples on a tighter budget.
All of the bedrooms are welcoming, comfortable, individually decorated and well presented & finished as they have tried to anticipate your every need. They have comfortable beds and en suite showers; the standard twin room is also equipped with a bath with shower above. All bedrooms benefit from the following facilities:

All seasons Microfibre [similar to down, but hypoallergenic] Duvets.

Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, one of which has been specially adapted for the less mobile visitor. The en suite has a wheel-in-shower, toilet and washbasin and is equipped with both fixed and adjustable grab rails. A moveable chair for the shower and seat riser for the WC are available on request. After enjoying a good night’s sleep you can sit back and relax in the light & airy sun-filled dining room with wonderful views over Dartmoor to enjoy an award-winning breakfast. Breakfast’s at ‘Overcombe House’ are delicious and can only be described as a special treat; they believe in serving fresh food using the best ingredients; this is why your cooked breakfast is always prepared fresh to order & served to your table. To start you can help yourself to a tempting buffet; choices include squeezed fruit juices, a range of cereals, seasonal fresh fruit medley (May to September), citrus mix & yoghurts. After you have chosen what you would like from the buffet and perused the menu they will then take your breakfast order. Whilst they prepare your freshly cooked breakfast you can enjoy the views of Dartmoor & the antics of the many varieties of bird that visit the feeders in the garden.
They are just a short distance from the historic market town of Tavistock & there is easy access to the ancient maritime city of Plymouth; whilst having all the benefits and amenities of Dartmoor National Park & the adjacent Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the doorstep.
