The small farm is ideal for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in a lovely part of the country. On the ground floor, there is a lovely room with a private entrance featuring a king-size bed. The adjoining room has a 3’ single bed and a 3’ trundle bed for additional adults or children. This family suite also boasts a lounge area with comfy seating, a modern TV with FreeSat, mini-fridge, and tea/coffee-making facilities. The modern en suite shower room includes a basin, toilet, heated towel rail, and a spacious shower enclosure.

Guests can enjoy an English or continental breakfast served in the family dining room, with as much home-produced or local produce as possible. With notice, dietary requirements can be catered for.

Meadowland Farm also offers self-catering accommodation in The Lookout Shepherd’s Hut, a beautiful purpose-built timber cabin with a double bed and a single bed for a child, sleeping up to 3. Rates start from £90 per night.

Guests are welcome to wander around the grounds and enjoy the far-reaching countryside views. The farm features a small flock of Exmoor Horn sheep, Berkshire pigs, and free-roaming hens and ducks that supply fresh eggs daily.

Meadowland Farm is the perfect base for exploring the local area, ideal for walking and cycling or visiting the numerous National Trust properties and gardens in the area, as well as the North Devon beaches. Located midway between Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks, the local market towns of Hatherleigh, Winkleigh, and Great Torrington are all nearby.
