www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Higher Chapel Farm, Callington, Cornwall

Higher Chapel Farm is a family run dairy farm which sits on the banks of the Tamar River set within the beautiful Tamar valley, close to Saltash and Plymouth.

http://thebandbdirectory.co.uk/8434

The Farm is ideally located for those wishing to discover Cornwall and within 20-30 minutes of both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor which is ideal for those who like to walk or ramble through the open countryside.

Within sight, and just down river from our farm, is the stunning Castle of Pentillie.

Just a 5 min walk from the farm will bring you to the quite hidden away gem of Halton Quay which is the home of England's smallest church great place to enjoy a picnic or just watch the boats go by. Halton Quay played an important part in the local economy in the 19th & early 20th centuries when it was an important fruit growing area, and the Tamar River was the main route by which lime, sand and manure came in and fruit went down to Plymouth.
