A collection of chickens also roam the land, ensuring that guests are served fresh farm eggs as part of their hearty farmhouse breakfast.
The surrounding countryside is well-known for its excellent walking and cycling opportunities. Lon Las Cymru, the Welsh National Cycle Route, passes through the village of Llangurig on its way to Rhayader, while The Severn Way — the longest riverside walk in Britain — also runs nearby. For guests who wish to explore the area, maps and local information are readily available, and packed lunches can be provided on request.
