The guest house also provides inviting communal spaces. Guests can relax in the resident’s lounge, which features an original Victorian fireplace, comfortable seating, a television and a selection of games. Breakfast is served each morning in the Victorian dining room, or alternatively in the bright conservatory. Options include hearty cooked breakfasts, fresh fruit and yoghurt, with vegetarian dishes also available. Complimentary tea and coffee are provided throughout the day.

Aviemore is renowned for its wide range of outdoor activities, and Cairngorm Guest House is ideally placed to enjoy them. The area offers opportunities for mountain biking, hill walking, rock climbing, skiing, bird watching, fishing, golfing and white-water rafting. Local activity providers are on hand to assist visitors in making the most of their stay.

Invicta House B&B is a family-friendly bed and breakfast in Golspie and ideally located for touring the far north of Scotland. No matter the time of year you will find plenty of things to do and enjoy during your stay in this beautiful part of Sutherland. In the summer months, there is plenty of sightseeing to do as well – the ancestral home of the Dukes of Sutherland, Dunrobin Castle, is in the village just 5 minutes in the car from Invicta House or one stop on the train which runs from their back garden. If Single Malt whisky appeals, there are a number of superb distilleries within easy reach, each brand with its own distinct character and unique palate.

Bank Guest House is a family run bed and breakfast situated in the centre of the town of Wick in the beautiful county of Caithness.

The town of Wick itself is a former Viking settlement. The town sits astride the River Wick, stretching along both sides of Wick Bay and holds the claim to fame of once being the busiest herring port in Europe in the mid 19th century. The remains of the Castle of Old Wick, often referred to as the Old Man of Wick, sits atop the edge of the cliffs about half a mile south of Wick Bay and overlooks the sea.

Our B&B is set amongst rolling hills and is the perfect base to cast out and discover this stunning area.

The river Clun meanders past the garden and on through the fields and has plenty of Trout and Grayling and spawning Salmon at various times of the year. It is also home to Otters, which we have been lucky to have seen on a number of occasions usually at dusk. Guests are welcome to fish so long as it has been prearranged with us.
