The
bed and breakfast is a two minute walk to Pannett Park and five minutes to
Whitby town centre or the beach. We have parking for 5 guest cars together with
a secure covered area to the rear of the property where cycles can be stored.
On
arrival at the B&B enjoy a cup of freshly brewed Yorkshire Tea or cafetiere
coffee with a delicious home made cake served either in our dining room or in
your bedroom. Arrangements can be made for gluten or dairy free.
Start
your day in our relaxing breakfast room, choosing from our buffet selection of
cereals or home-prepared muesli, with fresh fruit and fruit juice.
Then
set yourself up for the day with a full English breakfast or maybe a famous
jugged Fortunes kipper. We source our produce from our local butchers and all
eggs are free range.
All
of the B&B breakfasts are served with toast, fresh tea or filter coffee.
Our breads are home-made by Simon and are free from additives or preservatives.
Set
at the mouth of the river Esk on the stunning North Yorkshire moor coast Whitby
offers a wealth of history. Emerging as a fishing port in the middle ages and
developing a large herring and whaling fleet, Whitby has fine maritime heritage
with Captain Cook starting his sailing career here and one of the life boat
station being established the 1820’s.
