Awarded the TripAdvisor 2014 'Certificate of Excellence’ (4th year in succession), we are open all year including Christmas and the New Year.
Our bed and breakfast accommodation is in an unspoilt corner of the Lake District National Park and we are totally dog friendly. Being close to the lakes yet away from the crowds Beech Hill House is the perfect place to stay while visiting and touring the Lake District, South Lakes Furness Peninsulas, the Yorkshire Dales and North Lancashire.
Being in the South Lakes, Windermere, Coniston Lake and the surrounding mountains and fells are all nearby and Barrow-in-Furness on the Lake District Furness Peninsula is only a 35 minute drive away. The market town of Kendal is a short drive as is Levens Hall with its topiary gardens, Sizergh Castle, Holker Hall, Haverthwaite Steam Railway, Cartmel Racecourse, the coastal town of Grange-Over-Sands, Newby Bridge, Lakeside, Bowness-on-Windermere, Hawkshead. Dalton, Ulverston, Morecambe Bay and Arnside.
