Higher Bruckland Farmhouse B&B is set in Musbury near Axminster in Devon.
Our 16th century farmhouse nestles in the valley below Combpyne and the ancient earthmounds of Musbury Castle. It is a traditional 300 acre family farm, and livery yard; guests are welcome to wander around the farm and watch the milking, help with the calves or feed the chickens.
The area is perfect for walking or riding so why not bring your dog and
or horse to enjoy the lovely countryside. The East Devon Way goes
through the farm and a walk up to Musbury Castle is a must with
spectacular views overlooking the whole Axe Valley down to the coast at
Seaton.
Local towns and places of interest include: River Cottage, the HQ for well known TV chief, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall just 3 miles away.
The lovely seaside towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth are a both 15 minutes by car. Exeter with its ancient Cathedral is a 45 minute drive.
