www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk The Bell at Iden, Iden, Rye, East Sussex

http://thebandbdirectory.co.uk/

Located in the peaceful village of Iden, just 5 minutes drive from Rye, The Bell at Iden dates back, in parts, to 1107.

Local legend has it, that the original building was used as accommodation for the monks that built Iden Church. It is also thought that there is a tunnel between the pub cellar and the church, although this has not been discovered, we do keep our eye out for the vicar turning up in the cellar!

Today, we serve homemade food, real ales, continental lagers and have a superb wine list.

We welcome both well behaved children & dogs. Enjoy great food in comfortable and relaxed surroundings or stay in one of our spacious bed and breakfast rooms.

We have wonderful beer gardens for enjoying the summer and a warm cosy snug with a wood burning fire for the wintery nights.
