Bron Afon Borth y Gest, Porthmadog, Gwynedd
Bron Afon is a three-storey house built circa 1840. It is tastefully decorated and maintained throughout. It stands majestic in its grounds affording spectacular views of the estuary.
The Cnicht and Moelwyn Ranges of Snowdonia and the Ffestiniog Railway form a backdrop; immediately facing across the estuary the Meirionydd & Rhinog mountain ranges and to the right fantastic views of Harlech and its castle (built by Edward 1) standing on a mound below the town.
For the past twenty years Bron Afon has attracted visitors from all over the world by offering comfortable and affordable bed and breakfast. Many who have stayed, find themselves returning on more than one occasion.
