Spurwing Guest House, Wareham, Dorset
Spurwing Guest House is a chalet-style bungalow situated on the outskirts of Wareham, in Dorset. The guest house has an African theme and is named after the African Spurwing Goose, which can be found on Spurwing Island in the middle of the Karibe Dam in Zimbabwe.
We are situated within walking distance of the old market town of Wareham famously surrounded by ancient Saxon walls, offering a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and a popular Saturday market making us the perfect B&B in Wareham.
Wareham Station and bus services are a 5 minute walk away, serving the nearby towns of Poole and Bournemouth and with 2 trains every hour to London Waterloo. Wareham is a convenient base for safe sandy beaches, fossil hunting, walking and cycling along the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
