The Bield Guest House, Aberfoyle, Loch Lomond, Stirling
The Bield is a large Victorian house built of sandstone in 1900. Our rooms are decorated to a high standard and we have a comfortable guest lounge to relax in. We have tried to keep and restore as many of the houses's original features. We have private off road parking for our guests and we are able to provide safe storage for bikes.
The house overlooks the lovely village of Aberfoyle in the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park in Scotland, with all its wonderful scenery. The village is only a few minutes walk away and has some great pubs and places to eat and interesting places to visit
Aberfoyle is situated in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, an area of outstanding beauty with mountains, lochs and glens. With many miles of walking and cycling routes starting from Aberfoyle, its an ideal base for seeing this lovely part of Scotland. The long distance walk The Rob Roy Way and The National Cycle Route 7 both pass through Aberfoyle and we welcome both walkers and cyclists at The Bield.
