Portman Lodge, Blandford Forum, Dorset

Portman Lodge, Blandford Forum, Dorset

Portman Lodge is a Victorian property which is now a very well established bed and breakfast, still with many of its original features. The accommodation is located just outside the town centre of Blandford Forum, Dorset.

All guest bedrooms are en suite and include a TV, Wi-Fi, radio, hairdryer, trouser press and hospitality trays.

In the morning, a full English breakfast is served using locally sourced produce. There are also vegetarian and vegan options available.

The bed and breakfast has a private patio area for guest use at the rear of the house. It is very pretty in the summer and suitable for quiet relaxation in the open air.

There are a number of amenities close to the B&B as well as several things to do including tennis and swimming. Other attractions in the area include the Jurassic Coast, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Kingston Lacey House, Clouds Hill (home of Lawrence of Arabia) and Tolpuddle (of martyrdom fame).
