Greenhead Farm, Glenrothes, Fife
We have four bedrooms at the guest house one of which is a single room and the other three can be set up as either double or twin rooms depending on your requirements.
The property has been restored, extended and modernised (originally built in the first half of the 1800's) and it has flexible and comfortable accommodation of single, double or twin bedrooms. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds, an excellent selection of books and TV.
Breakfast is served in the dining room and features porridge, cereals, fruit and superb local eggs, bacon and sausages. A three or four course dinner, produce from the garden, farm and other local shops can be requested in advance.
The surrounding area is full of interesting places to visit such as Vane Farm RSPB Nature Reserve, the castle on an island on Loch Leven whence Mary Queen of Scots escaped, St Andrews and Falkland Palace. If you are energetic we recommend an early morning walk on their farm and to the tops of the Lomond Hills behind the house where you can see spectacular views south over the Firth of Forth, across Loch Leven and down the Fife coast.
