Culloden Farmhouse, Camelford, Cornwall
Culloden Farmhouse is a high quality, self catering and vegetarian/vegan Cornish bed and breakfast establishment. It is set in peaceful gardens yet only 100 yards from the centre of the medieval market town of Camelford (one of the supposed sites of legendary Camelot).
The comfortable bed and breakfast room has a king-size bed with en suite shower and tea making facilities as well as a TV with Freeview. There are also three 1 bed apartments, all of which come with a kitchen/lounge area and large screen TV/DVD player. One of the rooms also comes with a garden area.
The town and immediate area offer excellent shopping and sporting facilities including golf and a leisure centre with 20m swimming pool, fitness studio and tennis courts. Visitors can stroll around the many varied and interesting shops, cafes and restaurants. Both public houses The Masons Arms and the Darlington Inn serve excellent food, as do the 2 restaurants, Ravals and The Riverside.
Camelford is 5 miles from the spectacular North Cornwall coastline at Tintagel, and Slaughterbridge the site of King Arthur's last battle; with the harbour of Boscastle and the beautiful beaches of Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney also close by.
