Appalachian Spring is a former farmhouse with a mature south-facing garden and private patio to the side of the house.
There are two family rooms available with 5 ft beds and a single bed or sofa bed luxury mattresses:

Double-glazed sash windows overlooking our beautiful south-facing garden and on to unspoilt views of the Devon countryside.
Elmhirst: This large double room is light and airy, and has windows facing two aspects. Looking north, there is a beautiful view of the garden and the rolling fields beyond, and the room also overlooks the woods opposite. The room boasts a luxury 5' bed with a top-of-the-range mattress and a wool carpet. There are full-length mirrors on the fitted wardrobes.
Holst: This double room has two windows overlooking the garden and fields beyond. The 4'6 double bed has a top-quality mattress, and beyond it, a dressing table, wardrobe and single bed. There are two bookcases and a fully fitted wool carpet.
There is a dog resident.
Situated in rural Dartington Village, one mile from Totnes station and the medieval Dartington Hall Estate, Appalachian Spring is perfectly placed, close to the award-winning 14th century thatched Cott Inn. The owner is a viola player and Alexander Technique teacher. The South Hams is rich in tourist attractions and is a designated area of outstanding beauty.
