The Crown & Punchbowl is a quaint country pub and inn located on the outskirts of Cambridge. It offers bed & breakfast accommodation in the small village of Horningsea.

The Grade II Listed country pub dates from the 17th Century and offers traditional features including brick fireplaces and original timber beams. This boutique hotel has a range of wonderful bedrooms available, all with en suite facilities. The Science Wing was added in December 2018 with four gorgeous rooms named after four of the 20th Century’s most renowned scientists, all of whom have a connection to Cambridge: Alan Turing, Rosalind Franklin, Stephen Hawking and Jane Goodall. 

The owners are passionate about locally sourced food, blending modern British and European cuisine. From roast pork loin to roast chicken supreme, there is something to suit all your needs. There is a wine list available focused on the Languedoc - Roussillon region of France and a variety of excellent beer and cider.
