Pitcairn House is a warm, welcoming family-run Victorian guest house that provides great value accommodation and excellent bed and breakfast facilities in Keswick in the Lake District.
There are a total of 8 guest bedrooms with a mixture of doubles, twins and triple beds. Most rooms are en suite but some have shared facilities.

Keswick is nestled at the base of Skiddaw, right beside the beautiful shores of Derwentwater and surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. There are breathtaking views in every direction whether you are at the top of a high crag, walking the lower fells or strolling through the town.
Rapidly becoming known as the “UK’s Outdoor Adventure Capital” Keswick has an enviable range of pursuits to challenge even the most daring visitor. Many of these activities are local to the town and include climbing, kayaking, hill walking, mountain biking, abseiling, paragliding, ghyll scrambling to mention but a few. There are ample walks in the local area to suit all levels of ability with easy access to many of the famous “Wainwrights”, should you wish to tackle one or more.
For those preferring more leisurely activities there are beautiful parks, the museum, bowls greens, crazy golf or pitch and putt, the leisure pool, cinema or ever-popular Theatre by the Lake. The awe-inspiring scenery around Derwentwater can all be taken in with a gentle cruise on one of the launches or rowing boat.
