Glendower B&B, Torquay, Devon, The English Riviera

Glendower B&B is in one of the best locations within Torquay. It is just across the road from the International Conference & Leisure Centre and right beside the Torre Abbey and its beautiful gardens. For those who want a relaxing break away, we are ideal. The centre of Torquay is within easy reach and we are a short drive from many attractions in the English Riviera.

All of the guest rooms have been decorated and furnished to a high standard. Our aim is to ensure that guests have an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay, whilst visiting this beautiful part of Devon.

For those with limited mobility, we have a choice of ground floor rooms available.

Breakfast is included within the room rate and is freshly prepared for you each morning.

We have a bar and patio that guests are welcome to enjoy. The bar and lounge area have a great selection of wines, spirits and local beers available. This is a great place to relax after a hard day and enjoy a refreshing drink with friends, fellow guests or your hosts. Our patio enjoys sun throughout the day and is perfect for a spot of quiet sunbathing or to enjoy a relaxing drink.

We are just a few hundred metres from the main beach and then a mere 10-minute walk to the town centre and harbour. Torquay’s waterfront is the focus of life in the town. Here you’ll find the palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and an international marina. There is an abundance of pavement cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightlife, good quality shops and a host of attractions to suit every interest.
