Melfort House is an oasis of tranquillity and culinary delights on the shores of Loch Melfort in Argyll, near Oban in Scotland. We offer a relaxing retreat for those who are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living.
There are 3 rooms at the guest house called Loch Room, Hill Room & Garden Room.
Breakfast is served each morning in our dining room and consists of a variety of local delicacies including Loch Fyne kippers, homemade tattie scones, oatmeal porridge with cream, chilli omelettes, kedgeree and exotic fruit salad. Dinner can also be provided by prior arrangement.
Upon arrival or after your day's adventures why not sink into a comfortable sofa and enjoy freshly baked scones, pancakes or a slice of Victoria Sponge and as much tea as you need to refresh you after a busy day taking in the beautiful surroundings.
Mountains, castles, fine gardens, whisky distilleries, folk music, island hopping and amazing boat trips through the infamous Corryvrecken Whirlpool are but a few of the ways to enjoy your days whilst staying with us.
