The Gables Bed & Breakfast, Starkholmes, Matlock, Derbyshire
The Gables Bed & Breakfast is a lovely B&B that has wonderful views overlooking the Derwent Valley in Derbyshire. Our bed and breakfast is up a steep and winding lane and is a short walk from the centre of Starkholmes, a small and pretty village near Matlock.
Our bed and breakfast is a perfect base for those who are looking for a 'get away from it all' break or as a stop-off while touring the Peak District National Park. We have 1 double/twin guest room available and 1 king suite. All of the guest rooms include a TV, fridge and a complimentary tea tray and an afternoon tea service.
Take some time to sit and enjoy our guest lounge whilst you unwind in front of the open fire on a cold winters day or out on the patio in the beauty of our surroundings in the sunshine.
For breakfast we offer both Full English and Continental, using as much locally sourced produce as possible.
Derbyshire has many attractions and places of interest that guests of all ages will enjoy. Nearby attractions include Gulliver’s Kingdom, Heights of Abraham & The Masson Caves, Matlock Bath, The Peak Rail, and many more.
