Westwood - The B&B with a View offers charming guest accommodation on the outskirts of the village of Great Broughton on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Our B&B boasts stunning views across a romantic old three-arched bridge, over the River Derwent in the valley to the wonderful old church of St. Bridget’s and the Lake District Mountains. We truly are a haven for peace and relaxation in a magical location.
Our B&B has 2 beautifully furnished double bedrooms available, offering the most comfortable and relaxing experience possible. Both rooms come with excellent facilities.
You can relax and unwind in the spacious lounge which offers breathtaking views of the Lake District mountains, the River Derwent and the Gem Town of Cockermouth. From the lounge, you have direct access to the delightful decking area with a sustainable teak table and chairs. A great spot for an afternoon coffee whilst savouring the views.
We offer a fabulous breakfast to give you the perfect start to the day. From an English breakfast to a continental breakfast, we have something for everyone. Breakfast is served in our dining area or on the decking, both wonderful places for admiring the view whilst you are tucking into some delicious food.
