Compton Guest House, Buxton, Derbyshire, The Peak District
Compton Guest House is nestled in a stunning part of the Peak District National Park, in the centre of Buxton in Derbyshire. The guest house is family-run and aim to provide guests with a warm and homely environment from which to explore the heart of England.
The well-appointed guest bedrooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Each is centrally heated and includes a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Other facilities available include:

There is a large south facing patio area where you can sit and relax with tea & biscuits or wine and beer. There is a safe indoor lock up for bicycles or any other equipment and plenty of parking.
Coach parties are welcome and so are single sexed groups.
The guest house is within easy reach of many attractions and places of interest. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are less than a 30 minute drive away and there are many wooded dales, caves and caverns almost on the doorstep. Pooles Cavern is only a 2 minute walk away). Nature trails, golf courses, bowls, tennis, pony trekking (pre bookable on premises) are all available locally and the popular theme park of Alton Towers is only a 40 minute drive from our guest house.
