Commonwood Manor, Looe, Cornwall
Commonwood Manor is situated in Looe, Cornwall and is a home away from home, perfect for a relaxing break. We have a swimming pool, gym and sauna available and aim to do our utmost to ensure your visit is a memorable one, from start to finish. Our guest house lies on the edge of Looe, a historic Cornish fishing village dating from the 12th century. Carved into the hillside overlooking the East Looe River, this six-acre property has breathtaking views over the water and countryside beyond, yet we are only a 10-minute walk from the town, harbour, beach and sea.
Located on the ground floor of the house are the restaurant, lounge bar and sitting room complete with a panoramic terrace overlooking the water (when the tide is in that is!). Drinks are served al fresco when possible. You may perhaps enjoy relaxing by the pool nestled in a suntrap or enjoy some peace in our gardens and woodland.
Autumn, winter and spring are perhaps the best time to unwind with our health and beauty treatments available at Barclay Lodge which offers some of the most stunning views of the river and countryside beyond.
All of the bedrooms are en suite and come with a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, alarm clock, toiletries, Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities. We have a selection of doubles and super king size rooms available.
It is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers a beautiful sandy beach, shops, places to eat and interesting sites.
