Invicta House B&B is a family-friendly bed and breakfast in Golspie and ideally located for touring the far north of Scotland. No matter the time of year you will find plenty of things to do and enjoy during your stay in this beautiful part of Sutherland. They are situated just 300 yards off the A9 road, a perfect location for walkers, cyclists and motorists alike who may be tackling the North Coast 500 or Land's End to John O'Groats challenges.
There are three guest rooms available which are all are comfortably furnished and have been tastefully decorated to ensure a relaxing stay is enjoyed by all. All of the guest rooms come equipped with everything you need to feel at home.
Breakfast is served in the dining room from 7.30am – 9am each morning. They are happy to cater to any special dietary requirements if they are made aware. They also offer earlier breakfasts if required. Packed lunches can also be provided on request at £5 per person.
Golspie is an ideal base for touring the far north of Scotland, ideal for bird watching, walking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing and golf – all the outdoor activities for which the Highlands is world-famous. They have teamed up with Golspie Golf Club in a local initiative to promote golf on this magnificent yet underused links course which is almost on their front doorstep; they are now able to offer a substantial discount voucher to all guests who would like to play there. In the summer months, there is plenty of sightseeing to do as well – the ancestral home of the Dukes of Sutherland, Dunrobin Castle, is in the village just 5 minutes in the car from Invicta House or one stop on the train which runs from their back garden. If Single Malt whisky appeals, there are a number of superb distilleries within easy reach, each brand with its own distinct character and unique palate.
