Avalon Guesthouse, Newquay, Cornwall
Avalon Guesthouse offers superb guests accommodation situated in a leafy, residential part of Newquay in Cornwall. It is 250 metres from Tolcarne Beach and just half a mile from the town centre.
There are six comfortable en suite guest rooms. A shower stool is available for guests with problems standing up to shower. The guest rooms comprise of:
Launcelot: A large double, with a spacious en suite, digital flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Galahad Room: This is a large comfortable double room featuring a private balcony where you can sit and unwind after a busy day exploring Cornwall or a busy day at work. The room has a spacious en suite, digital flat-screen TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
The Perceval Room: A comfortable double room with digital flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Bedivere Room: A double/single room with digital flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
The Gawain Room: A large family room with one double bed and two single beds with digital TV and tea and coffee making facilities and private bathroom.
The Tristan Room: A comfortable double/twin room with en suite, digital TV and tea making facilities.
A continental breakfast is offered which can be taken at your own leisure.
Fresh fruit juice and a selection of fresh fruit are available.
Portions of butter and margarine and various jams are also available, such as marmalade, strawberry and raspberry for your morning toast.
Special dietary requirements are also catered for with prior arrangements.
Access to coffee-making machine with Fairtrade organic coffee beans.
Microwave available to use.
Breakfast is served between 8.30am and 10.15am. Please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements. A high chair is available for our smaller guests and there are patio doors from the dining room leading outside, should you want to enjoy the fresh sea breeze. During the day, guests are welcome to use the dining room, whether its to sit and read a book, use their computer or simply plan the activities for the following day.
The town centre has a variety of shops and all kinds of eateries can be found to suit everybody's taste. Newquay also has a thriving nightlife with lots of bars, pubs and clubs. Along Cornwall's beautiful coastline are scattered lots of pretty and charming fishing villages, many still working and with lots of history. Many of these villages also feature boat trips of all kinds including trips to the Isles of Scilly.
