The Ship Inn offers beautifully appointed accommodation, overlooking the golden sands of Mundesley Beach. The inn dates back over 300 years and is perhaps the oldest pub on the Norfolk coast. Whether guests are joining us for a drink, dinner or overnight stay, they look forward to welcoming all.

 

Much care and attention have been paid when decorating and furnishing the guest rooms. They have fresh nautical interiors, inspired by our coastal location and are perfect for solo travellers, couples, friends and families. The following rooms are available at The Ship Inn:

 

Cosy Double - Situated on the first floor, these bedrooms are dog friendly, with plenty of natural light. They don't have a sea view. The cosy double rooms have en-suite shower rooms, hanging space and tea, coffee and biscuits.

 

Seaview Room - Located on the first floor, the spacious Sea View Rooms offer mesmerising views of the North Sea and Mundesley Beach with en suite shower rooms.

 

Premium Double - This bedroom is one of the larger rooms, with space for up to three people. Decked out in colourful coastal hues, and kitted out with cosy dressing gowns, this room does not have sea views but it does have oodles of space and a large bathroom with his & hers stone sinks, and a beautiful shower.

 

Fresh seaside cuisine cooked simply on the north Norfolk coast. The Ship Inn has been charmingly restored, dining is relaxed and cosy with a hip coastal vibe. Dine outdoors in the warmer months and enjoy the rugged coastline and breathtaking sea views. The kitchen brigade uses fresh, local ingredients, producing delicious cuisine. Breakfast is included within the room rate and is served from 9 am – 10 am. Earlier breakfasts can be arranged – please let us know the night before.

 

The picturesque village of Mundesley is situated on the coast of North Norfolk. Its beautiful beach is one the cleanest in Britain with plentiful sands stretching for miles. Mundesley Beach has been voted the 2016 Best Blue Flag Beach in Britain.
