Old Mill Farm House, Trawsfynydd, Gwynedd, Snowdonia National Park

Old Mill Farm House, Trawsfynydd, Gwynedd, Snowdonia National Park

Old Mill Farm House is set on a hill, seven hundred feet above sea level. They offer warm and welcoming B&B accommodation, on a property that is completely encircled by the glorious mountain ranges of Snowdonia. The bed and breakfast is situated on the edge of Trawsfynydd village, a few miles north of Coed y Brenin mountain bike centre.

The seven individually-named bedrooms are all on the ground floor and located in our renovated, former farm buildings. Each of the bedrooms has a comfy bed, quality linen, TV, Wi-Fi and well appointed en-suite shower or wet rooms.

They have 3 double rooms, 2 family rooms (one with 2 bedrooms, the other one suitable for wheelchair users) and 2 twin rooms and can accommodate a total of 19 people in one group if required. 2 of the rooms are smaller and this is reflected in their price.

Guests are welcome to meet the animals on the farm, including two llamas! The chickens provide freshly laid eggs for your breakfast. The gardens are a joy to behold and include a Japanese style area with fish pond and traditional red bridge. The model garden railway, Cedar Creek Railroad, operates after breakfast, from Easter to the end of October and is bound to be a favourite with rail enthusiasts.

Old Mill Farm House is in an ideal location for exploring the nearby mountains, lakes, rivers and forests, as well as castles and steam trains. There are sandy beaches just 25 minutes from the accommodation and many other activities such as mountain biking, zip wires, windsurfing, pony trekking and white water rafting.
