Skiddaw Croft provides comfortable accommodation in the picturesque village of Portinscale near Keswick. It is located in the heart of the North Fells of the Lake District National Park (designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). There are wonderful views to Derwentwater, Walla Cragg and Grisedale Pike from the bedrooms.
There are 6 bedrooms available - 4 have en suite facilities. They all come with a TV, towels, bathrobe, hairdryer, toiletries, hospitality tray and FREE Wi-Fi. In the morning you can choose a full English, vegetarian breakfast and lighter options. There are also cereals, fruit, yoghurt and fruit juice alongside your breakfast choice.
The B&B is ideally located to enjoy walking the nearby Fells (such as Cat Bells, Skiddaw, Walla Cragg, Grisedale Pike and Causey Pike) as well as enjoying Derwentwater - where you can take a lake cruise, a walk around the lake or enjoy the many water sports facilities at Derwentwater Marina or Nichol End Marine.
It is an ideal location, not only for the local Fells, but Lingholm Estate (where Beatrix Potter spent her holidays), Castlerigg Stone Circle (just outside Keswick), Wordsworth’s House in Cockermouth, the historic town of Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall.
