Our Grade II Listed Elizabethan manor house dates from 1590 and was built in the shape of an ‘E’ to honour Queen Elizabeth who once stayed here. The manor house now offers a range of elegant bedrooms to choose from, including 4 accessible rooms.
Based on the first floor are the Manor House Doubles, including one bedroom with a king-size four-poster bed and a Corfe stone fireplace. The Castle View Doubles are on the first floor and offer views of Corfe Castle. Our Terrace View Doubles are housed on the first-floor extension and look over the garden Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk terrace, village and countryside. On the ground floor, we also have Ground Terrace Doubles.
On the first floor extension, we have Classic Twins including one room with garden terrace views. The Garden Dacombe Rooms are based within the walled garden and boast underfloor heating. We also have 3 suites to stay in, offering that added touch of luxury. 2 of the suites can be family rooms.
Our award-winning restaurant uses local suppliers to create delicious dishes. We combine British and international cuisine to create a fantastic menu, served in our intimate restaurant. You can also enjoy lunch in The Terrace Bar and there is an outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.
We are based in a great location for exploring the area. Visit the village's famous castle, independent shops and museum or explore the sandy beaches along the Jurassic coast. Enjoy the country walks or visit The Arne Nature Reserve.
