Highfield House is a lovely spacious Edwardian bed & breakfast in the heart of Sheringham in Norfolk quietly tucked away, yet just a stone's throw to the beach, rail station and golf course.

Sheringham town is an absolute must see, there really is something for everyone, from our blue flag beach with a lovely promenade to our steam railway, which never fails to enthral, whatever your age.

There is a links golf course situated on the cliff tops with views to put you right off your game. We have some beautiful coastal and inland walks with many renowned beauty spots and wildlife, with a coastal bus service to hail if you don't fancy the walking back.

The surrounding area is awash with National Trust places of interest and you will never struggle for some truly great food and a refreshing pint. We hope that you will visit us soon and return often.

Highfield House is located at Kirknewton, Edinburgh and is a warm and relaxed place to stay whilst visiting this beautiful part of Scotland. You'll find it easy to discover not only Edinburgh, but also the whole of Scotland from here. The central location is ideal for a Scottish holiday or simply as a base for exploring this special country.

The guest house has 3 bright and spacious bedrooms; king size, double, or twin each with en suite facilities or a private bathroom. All of the bedrooms come with TV with Freeview and radio, hairdryer, electric blankets, and tea and coffee making facilities.

A full cooked Scottish breakfast is served around the large oak dining table each morning. Sausages, bacon & free range eggs, a choice of fried, poached or scrambled, are included. Haggis & black pudding are optional extras. If preferred, a continental version is also available. For other meals, a wide variety of eateries within a five mile radius of the house also offer excellent dining.

Stirling, the Trossachs, St Andrews, the Highlands and the Borders are all within easy reach, making Highfield a very good base for touring Scotland. There are many golf courses nearby, (67 alone in Edinburgh & Lothians) including the Championship course at Dalmahoy (under 10 minutes away). Other activities include skiing, riding, hillwalking, fishing, sailing and canoeing.
