Inglenook Guest House provides comfortable accommodation in a peaceful road within the heart of Ingleton. The house is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and it is a great base for exploring Carnforth and surrounding attractions.

There are 4 guest bedrooms available which are all en suite. They all have a TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, biscuits and fresh milk. Guest rooms at the front of the house look out to Ingleborough Mountain while the rooms at the back look over the River Greta and Greta Gorge.

There is access to a fridge, ideal to chill some beer or prosecco.

Breakfast is served in the dining room and locally sourced produce is used where possible. They also cater for a range of diets, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free.

This is a great base for outdoor pursuits which include walking, biking, climbing and caving. There are many interesting places to visit close by. These include Ingleton Waterfalls Trails, White Scar Caves, Yorkshire Three Peaks and Carnforth Station Heritage Centre.

Gale Green Cottage was originally built in 1771. It has been extended and lovingly restored to the highest standard, whilst retaining many of its original features.

The homely guest lounge, complete with original oak beams and inglenook fireplace provides a relaxing retreat in the evening, whilst the completely refurbished spacious bedrooms (two doubles and one twin ) compliment the contemporary en suite facilities.

It stands in its own grounds that feature a free flowing beck and waterfall and are home to a variety of bird life including heron, buzzard and dipper. There is ample off road parking available.

Ingleton is one of England's natural beauty spots and has everything to offer from easy woodland walks to the spectacular Ingleton waterfalls and the world famous White Scar caves. For the less adventurous Ingleton offers a heated outdoor pool, bowling green, climbing wall and a variety of shops including many that specialise in climbing and caving.

Croft Gate is a luxurious Bed & Breakfast that is located in the valley of Chapel le Dale in North Yorkshire. We offer B&B accommodation in our converted barn and Shippon.


Our Shippon suite is a private room that has its own lounge/dining room with a log burning stove, LCD Freesat TV, DVD player, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi.
