Westleigh Bed & Breakfast is a 120-year-old property that provides modern, very dog-friendly accommodation within the village of Beer near Seaton. This lovely village is a finalist in the ‘Village of the Year’ competition. It is still a traditional fishing village with a history of smugglers and other such historical and cultural interests.

We have 3 dog-friendly rooms available:

The first room has a king-size bed and en suite and includes a TV, welcome tray, fridge, dog bed, dog bowl, dog treats and hairdryer.

The second room has a king-size bed with access to a bathroom. This room has the same facilities as the first.

We also have a small double overlooking the village and garden. The room has use of the shared bathroom.

On arrival, we provide dog treats and liver cake for the doggies!

For breakfast, there is a full English and continental option available. There are also full evening menus available where local meats and seasonal vegetables are used.

There is a cosy living room with an open fire to relax in.

The bed and breakfast is just a stone’s throw away from the Jurassic Coast which is 95 miles long. There are lots of dog-friendly places in the area as well as many attractions to enjoy such as Seaton Tramway and Pecorama.

Armidale Cottages Bed & Breakfast is situated in half an acre and was once two cottages that were built over 100 years ago. The property now provides guest accommodation located in the old village of Seaton, close to Workington, Cumbria.

As a continuation of the Roman Wall, the Romans built a series of forts all down the Solway coast, including ones at Workington and Maryport. The most southerly of these forts can be seen at Hardknott Pass.

Cyclists and walkers are welcomed here and the accommodation is ideally situated for the Coast 2 Coast route and only a short drive from the Lake District Fells.
