We're situated in the beautiful Hope Valley, midway between Hathersage & Castleton, where the River Noe joins the River Derwent, below the dramatic escarpment of Bamford Edge. It's undoubtedly one of the most picturesque areas of Derbyshire and is very popular with walkers and cyclists, yet it's easily reached by both bus and rail. The cities of Sheffield and Manchester are less than an hour away on the Hope Valley Line.
