Each of the spacious 10 bedrooms is sumptuously decorated to recall the Victorian age, and most retain original fireplaces and bell pushes. All rooms have en suite facilities, complimentary toiletries, plenty of white fluffy towels, hairdryer, TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi and a selection of books and games. Most bedrooms have a luxurious sofa, superb views of woods or river, and some have room for additional child beds at no extra cost.

The guest rooms have been tastefully furnished and can accommodate single guests, couples, friends and families. Honeymooners will enjoy the romantic 4 poster guest room. Some of the bedrooms have skylight windows allowing you to gaze up at the stars in the clear night sky from your bed.
All guest rooms include en suite facilities, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer & TV.
You can eat a pub lunch in the bar or enjoy a cream tea in the Lagg Hotel gardens. All of the dishes are prepared using only the freshest and finest ingredients, sourced from local suppliers where possible. Arran Ale from the Isle of Arran Brewery is served in the bar.
The Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland is known as 'Scotland in miniature'. The lowland/highland fault line divides the island giving granite mountains in the north and gently rolling grasslands and raised beaches in the south. Arran is the most accessible of the Scottish Islands with direct public transport links. You can have breakfast in London and lunch on the Isle of Arran! It's 55 mins to Glasgow and a further 55 minutes on the ferry.
Arran offers visitors a wide variety of activities and has lots of places of interest to suit all ages. Arran has lots of places of geographic and archaeological interest. It has been inhabited for 1000's of years.

Five of our seven rooms are en suite and two have private bathrooms. All rooms include TV, free wi-fi access, tea/coffee making facilities, luxury toiletries and a hairdryer.
There is a large guest room where a full Scottish or continental breakfast is served and which also offers a place to relax, perhaps read a book or just enjoy the far reaching views of the hills. There is also a large patio area outside for guests to enjoy.
The Tweed Valley is a haven for outdoor activities and is ideal for those wanting to explore the area on foot or on a bike. It is also the mountain biking centre of Scotland, where bike hire is available and the trails are easily accessible from the house.
Glede Knowe is close to many historic stately homes and castles such as Traquair, Abbotsford, Thirlstane, Bowhill and Floors which make for fascinating days out and Edinburgh isn’t far away by car, bus or train.
There are lots of activities to suit everyone including hill walking, cycling on quiet roads, golf and horse riding.

This outstanding guest house is in a stunning waterside position and offers accommodation in a range of beautifully furnished bedrooms. All of the rooms boast gorgeous views of either the sea, the River Lyn or the garden. There are twin, king, double and single rooms available. Two dog-friendly rooms are available but these are limited. All of the guest rooms include en suite facilities, TV with Freeview, DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities & a hairdryer.
You will be spoilt for choice with the dining options available at the Rock House. You can eat in the harbourside restaurant, bar/lounge area or in the garden whilst the sun is shining. On hot summer afternoons, barbecues are held & real Devon cream teas are provided. You can relax and unwind with a drink or two whilst savouring the spectacular view.
Lynmouth is one of North Devon's most picturesque villages. It lies at the mouth of the Lyn River with Exmoor and the twin town of Lynton towering above. The Rock House is the perfect base for exploring a variety of superb walks along the rugged North Devon Coastal Path. Alternatively, you can walk through atmospheric woodlands alongside the Lyn River or across the beautiful moorlands of Lorna Doone country.
The local area has lots of attractions for all the family, including the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway and Exmoor Zoo. You stroll along some of the country's best beaches, such as those at Croyde and Woolacombe.

Breakfast is a four-course meal of your choice in the sun lounge with its beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Daily newspapers are provided in the comfortable sitting room, and afternoon tea & biscuits are served on the terrace under the gazebo, next to the water fountain.
The Lyndale Guest House is the perfect base for exploring the many delights of Northumberland. The house is situated in Bellingham, on the edge of the National Park, overlooking the River North Tyne, renowned for salmon, trout and coarse fishing, yet only 100 yards from the village shops, pubs and restaurant.
The area offers an array of activities for both the adventurous visitor and those who just wish to spend a while relaxing.
