Penycoed Hall Guest House dates from 1889 and was once owned by a prince and princess. The guest house stands proudly in its own grounds looking across the town of Dolgellau in Gwynedd to the mountains beyond.

Once owned by a prince and princess this fine, privately owned home offers 4 star guest in rooms, suites and apartments. This beautiful Welsh mansion is a wonderful place to escape to for a relaxing break and as a base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park. The guest rooms are elegant and comfortable to ensure you are well rested during your stay.

All of our B&B rooms can be let on a self catering basis if required and they all include a TV, DVD player, alarm clock and hair dryer.

There are many other attractions in this part of Wales such as fishing, pony-trekking and bird watching. Your Snowdonia Holiday would not be complete without a visit to a castle and a ride on one of the historic Great Little Trains of Wales. The seaside resort of Barmouth is only 8 miles away and has been enjoyed for generations by parents and children looking for a traditional family holiday. The safe sandy beaches are never overcrowded as they are in other parts of the UK and are consistently awarded the coveted Blue Flag for their high standards.
