The Royal Oak is a stone’s throw from the beautiful sandy beaches of Cullen Bay in Morayshire. We are a family-run hotel offering the very best in guest accommodation, as well as a cosy bar and popular restaurant. The hotel is nestled between the famous viaduct and the historical fishing village of Seatown.

All of the guest rooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished, with your comfort in mind. We can accommodate all guests, so whether you are a solo traveller, couple, friend or family, we look forward o welcoming you.

Our hotel restaurant is open to residents and non-residents. We have light lunches, afternoon tea and evening meals available, showcasing the very best in local Scottish produce. On the menu, you will find locally caught fish, shellfish, Aberdeenshire beef, free-range pork, lamb and venison from our own property in the Great Glen. We cater to dietary requirements and have vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free menu choices.

At the end of the day, why not retire to our cosy bar. We stock a fine range of malt whiskies, craft gins, draught beer and real ale on tap. A good wine list is also available, offering whites, reds rose and bubbles from around the globe.

The Royal Oak is an ideal stopover for those travelling along the NC250, MC100 or the Moray Coastal Route or for those who wish to spend a few days in this stunning part of the world. The area offers an abundance of activities, such as golf, dolphin watching, sea angling, sea kayaking, cycling and walking. Take time to browse around the many antique shops in Cullen and take in the breathtaking views over the Moray Firth. A short drive away and you are in the heart of Speyside Scotch Whisky distilleries.

Pitlochry is set in spectacular highland scenery and is ideally located for touring Highland Perthshire or further afield. The town sits on the edge of the huge Cairngorm National Park and beside the beautiful River Tummel.

There are individually controlled radiators, hospitality trays, towels & toiletries awaiting your arrival.

They have a comfortable guest lounge. The lounge has a cosy stove for those chillier days. They pride themselves on providing a home from home with a cosy lounge and stove, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a wide selection of books and magazines for your enjoyment.

Their excellent breakfasts are served with traditional fare sourced from an award-winning butcher, their local Knock of Clune crofter and other quality products from the surrounding area. They offer cooked (meat or vegetarian) or Scottish Platter breakfast options. Special dietary requirements and packed lunches catered for on request. Served between 7.30-9am with alternative times by arrangement. The dining room overlooks the garden which is frequented by red squirrels and a multitude of birds, nature's entertainment on our doorstep.

Newtonmore is situated in the Cairngorms National Park and is an excellent central base for touring the Highlands. For the active, there is just about every sporting activity available in the area. There are a host of visitor attractions with the Highland Folk Museum and Clan Macpherson Museum both in the village. Nearby there are the Highland Wildlife Park and forest adventure parks, many museums, Highland estates, malt whisky distilleries, steam and funicular railway and even sheepdog demonstrations. You could also visit Ruthven Barracks, the Cairngorm Reindeer Herd, the Speyside or Osprey Centres.

Seilebost is a cosy bed and breakfast, nestled in a lovely part of Inverness-shire. Our accommodation has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, ensuring guests have a comfortable and relaxing place to stay when exploring the Scottish Highlands. We are in the tranquil and historical village of Lewiston, only one mile from the attractions of Drumnadrochit and the legendary Urquhart Castle.

We have two rooms available, one with en suite facilities and one with private facilities.

Breakfast is included within the room rate and is served in our dining room. We have a full Scottish and continental breakfast available, along with a choice of hot and cold fish dishes and vegetarian options. If you require a packed lunch, please advise the night before.

Drumnadrochit by Loch Ness is just 14 miles south of the Highland capital city of Inverness, on the Great-Glen-Way nestled between the magnificently scenic Glen Affric, Wild Glen Strathglass and uniquely beautiful Glen Garry. It makes it an ideal centre for walking and exploring the Highlands by car or bike. There are restaurants within walking distance.
