www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk Greenhead Farm, Glenrothes, Fife

Greenhead is the home of Margaret and Malcolm Strang Steel who farm the surrounding land, and welcome guests to stay for bed and breakfast. They have restored, extended and modernised the house (originally built in the first half of the 1800's) and it has flexible and comfortable accommodation of single, double or twin bedrooms.

The surrounding area is full of interesting places to visit such as Vane Farm RSPB Nature Reserve, the castle on an island on Loch Leven whence Mary Queen of Scots escaped, St Andrews and Falkland Palace. If you are energetic the Strang Steels recommend an early morning walk on their farm and to the tops of the Lomond Hills behind the house where you can see spectacular views south over the Firth of Forth, across Loch Leven, and down the Fife coast.
