www.thebandbdirectory.co.uk The Alders Bed & Breakfast, Sandford Orcas, Sherborne, Dorset

The Alders is an attractive stone house set in a lovely old walled garden.

It is tucked away from the road in the charming conservation village of Sandford Orcas, only three miles from Sherborne.
Parking is private, with easy direct access to the rooms.
A good traditional English breakfast, with home made marmalade and jam, is served in the old pine panelled breakfast room, where there is a display of hand made pottery.
Sandford Orcas: This quiet, pretty, unspoilt village has its own Tudor Manor House (open to the public at certain times) and thirteenth century church, adjacent to The Alders.
Sherborne golf club is nearby.
Sherborne is conveniently situated three miles from the village. It is one of the most attractive towns in England, famous for its abbey, church and two castles, one built by Sir Walter Raleigh. There are plenty of shops in which to browse, in addition to an arts centre and small museum.
