At Oakford Cottage we will always provide you with a very warm welcome and make your stay with us a very special one.

Our 19th Century Derbyshire Stone Cottage provides a lovely setting in fantastic countryside. Fantastic countryside in the quiet hamlet of Robin Hood which is only 5 minutes walk from the village of Whatstandwell.

There are one double and two twin rooms available, sleeping 6 in total, with ensuite facilities.
Speciality of the house is the substantial Full English Breakfast or a choice something lighter, perhaps using free range eggs or seasonal home grown vegetables. A vegetarian option or other dietary requirements are also catered for on request.

Very spacious dining room, with fantastic views and access to the terraces.
The cottage and grounds enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and occupies a unique position tucked away beside the River Derwent and the Cromford Canal, which is designated a site of special interest for wildlife. There are an abundance of many interesting walks nearby and it is a few minutes’ walk from the Heritage Way.
